We are proud to welcome you to Gorse Ride Junior School.  We are a co-educational junior school for children from the age of seven to eleven.  We aim to provide a positive atmosphere where children will feel safe, happy and secure in their learning, and that they will develop confidence and grow in all respects so as to achieve the highest quality education for each individual child whatever their previous experiences or present needs.

The school was established in 1971 and has grown to achieve an enviable reputation. Our latest Ofsted report in July 2012 states that we are a good school with outstanding behaviour and that pupils thrive in the caring and inclusive atmosphere of a calm, well-ordered and happy school, which they enjoy coming to.
